A slight sneer appeared on his face as Jace pretty much shoved past him. They were off to a great start already. Alec rolled his shoulders, letting them crack, and tried not to give into all of his anger. He hadn't realized just how angry he was until his parabatai had appeared. On some level, well, they fed off of each other's anger thanks to the bond, but he was pretty sure most of the anger he was feeling was his own.
He didn't say a word as he followed Jace into the bedroom.
"We have a problem we need to discuss," he managed to say in a surprisingly calm voice. That wasn't a good sign since his face was schooled into a look of boredom. Alec was beyond upset at this point, which Jace could probably pick up that fact. "It involves just how open our relationship appears to be."
He managed to bite back any other words that might have damaged things beyond repair. The words hovered on the tip of his tongue, but he waited. Jace had to have a chance to defend his actions before Alec started really laying into him.
