Jace hadn't taken the time to do more than scribble a note that he had to go home and talk to Alec about something before leaving Damien's, a part of him knowing that delaying would just make the situation even worse. He hadn't considered the fact that he was also in a relationship with Alec, not on a conscious level anyway. Not until Alec had pointed it out that morning over the network. He took a deep breath when he saw his parabatai standing next to his door that way, walking towards him as calmly as he could but even though he'd known Alec was upset. Probably pissed even - he hadn't quite been expecting that question. And definitely not delivered that way.
His temper flared up and he balled his hands into fists as he shoved past his brother. "I'm not doing this in the hallway. Not when anybody could come past," he said, shoving his door open and waiting for Alec to follow him inside before closing it. He didn't care if his sisters, or Mark, or even the other version of him heard their conversation. He didn't want Ty hearing it.
