Jace knew that this stretch of beach had become one of Mark's favorites which was why they were meeting here. To him it didn't matter which beach they went to - he just liked being able to see the waves. And he figured it would be far enough away from the house that he could keep Mark off the network. When Alec had told them what Magnus had said - Jace hadn't taken the news well, throwing his blade at the doorframe to his bedroom as he remembered how hard Alec had taken it when Magnus had ended things back in June. And with the status of Alec and Jace's relationship right then he'd had no clue how to help his brother. He'd had to sit there and just watch him suffer. Until Mark had practically forced them to talk to one another and work things out.
He laughed when Mark grabbed him that way and pulled him close, brushing his lips over Mark's lightly. "Hey babe. I was starting to worry you were going to be late." He said, wrapping an arm around his boyfriend's waist. "This is the beach you said you liked coming to best right?"
