It was hard raising these tikes with Meja. Granted the rules were different in the mundane world. Lucy couldn’t help gravitate toward them, in need of wanting to help them. These kids were troublesome, menacing in the wrong hands. This wasn’t the ideal term of parenthood but it played along those ropes that she held tight on. Eventually she wanted children of her own but with everything going on that started to become a sailed dream. Lucy shifted in her seat just glancing at paper work that needed her attention. But with that free hour coming her way she would take a pause and accept that invitation from Derek. From what she gathered he was like her. She was a leader with extra details tucked in between. She cared for her family and friends and would do anything for them. Along those lines Derek fit which Lucy could relate to.
Finally that hour hit and she would be out the door, leaving her paper work behind. The breeze from the outside felt nice and a lot of scents were picked up right away. She was tempted to shift to get to Caritas. She only had an hour to herself and she didn’t want to waste a minute. It took her awhile to get around from place to place, she was still settling with the change. Once she stepped inside she would take in her surroundings and look around for that familiar male. She wore a cotton red flannel shirt with the sleeves rolled up. Her badge was present on her hip. Lucy came behind him with a smirk on her face. “You smell like grease and regret.” She slipped into a seat by him and looked at him closely. She only got a fair look at him when she was with Mark during their Skype chat so this would be the first time she technically saw him in person.
