He was pleasantly munching on the cookies when both of them seemed to have some issues keeping their food in their mouths. It was a little funny, he couldn't help but chuckle at both of them when he shook his head some and leaned over to grab that bottle and do them both the favor of topping off their glasses as well, since Jace had snagged those cookies.
"I keep forgetting you two never get to talk to animals. It comes in handy a lot, especially when I don't know where I am or how to do something...and you guys aren't around." Did that mean that Mark went ahead and opened up the windows and asked the birds things from time to time? Yep, it sure did. There was absolutely nothing strange about that to him though.
Once drinks were refreshed, and those homemade cookies were doled out while Mark tried to hoard some of those oreos just in case...he'd ease back into the pillows on the bed. There was a half-lidded look about him with a relaxed grin set on his features while he focused on the movie that was playing. There was shouting and large sharks involved, at which he laughed nearly snorting out rum as he tried to swallow for a moment there. In his mind though, he wondered how Alec was, what he needed, and what the two of them could do to help....aside from ill-mannered sharks, booze, and drugged cookies.
