"Hey- ow!" Alec didn't jump too hard from the hit, but he did end up bringing a hand up to rub the injured area. He gave his sister a look that she was probably used to seeing, one that was not amused. "I don't think I deserved a hit for that, Iz."
His eyes rolled as she pointed out his situation was dramatic. He was saved from saying more when a knock at the door filled the apartment. Alec was left fidgeting slightly as he waited for her to get back with their Chinese food. Once she set it down on the table he wasted no time cracking the bag open and setting the containers on the table.
"Yeah, I know." He pulled out a set of chopsticks and did his best not to mutilate them as he pulled them apart. "Mark...is great," a tiny smile appeared on his face. "I thought he was really annoying at first, but- He, uh, is quite magical."
