An eyebrow raised at the remark Simon had consumed extra blood just in case. They were going to really need to work on weaning him down to normal amounts. Raphael had no problem acquiring the blood, but at the rate at which they were going through it? Well, he was starting to think he needed to get a job at the hospital. That actually...wasn't a bad idea. He would think that over and figure out if he really wanted to do something so mundane. He hadn't held a job in a very long time, but easy access to blood like that? It would be useful. Annoying, but useful.
Rage gave Simon a faint nod showing that he understood, "I know, mijo. Which is why I am willing to do what I must to stop you. You don't need that on your mind." There was a slightly strange tone to his voice as his own memories tried to take over. Now wasn't the time to think of how little control he had exhibited as a new vampire. No, now was the time to focus on making sure Simon didn't make mistakes. He would focus more on training the fledgling. He actually was a tad disturbed by the idea of his Simon feeling the mass amounts of guilt that came with hurting an innocent person.
Killing a person was something a vampire never forgot. Some vampires simply didn't care, but Rafe knew that it would break Simon. The young vampire was not the type of person to kill and not feel guilty.
Dios, such dark thoughts.
A slight sigh escaped Rafe as Simon asked where to first. What part of Simon was leading the way had the other vampire not understood? He shook his head as muttered slightly in Spanish. The phone was pulled back out and he pulled up a map of the area. "Away from the water, in land, I think." The screen was powered down as he pointed the direction to head. Within seconds his phone was back in his pocket and he was giving Simon a very faint look. Had he imagined being stared at?
