He would have never expected anything less of Raphael. Had the sarcasm suddenly vanished and he was all sunshine and happy moments he would have thought there was a chance something was wrong with the blood they had in the fridge. Looking down at himself he had realized that they wore the same color of shirts. Okay, so maybe Raphael's was a littler nicer looking, and he probably paid a lot more of money for it so there were enough differences he almost felt sheepish for picking the same color.
"I figured it would work." He smiled almost a little cheesy at the other as he started off toward the door and making sure that he had his keys on him, padding the pocket of his pants lightly and feeling he had his phone on him as well. Never knew when something could happen. "Start, hmmm. I guess we could make our way downtown, this time at night it might actually still be filled with people and then it would give us a center point to go out from. Try a different direction each time we try and see how we can get..." He shrugged his shoulders a little, it was just a thought.
He was obviously putting a good deal of thought into this whole barrier thing too though.
They had been going through a lot, Raphael more so and Simon kept his issues at bay for the most part. He knew Raphael said his own issues were just as important and some of them were starting to solve them selves but he still didn't want to just add to the thick layers of problems that lurked when they weren't that important, they weren't a problem just yet.
One brow arched dramatically when Raphael commented on him leading tonight. That hadn't been something he was expecting. "Wait...that's not even fair. We both know it doesn't take much at all for me to annoy you, and you're already so far in these movies! I know you want to see what happens...you do. You get into them.." Grinning he would open the door and step aside, yes he was letting Raphael walk out first. Making sure to check the lock so that it was turned before pulling the door shut behind the both of them and walking down the hall.
"Would you really stop watching...?" There was almost concern over the matter.
