Simon froze. Raphael had asked him to finish his thought, and his entire body had tensed up on instant. If he had a pulse it would have been beating out of his chest and vibrating on the floor by this point. He couldn't even figure out what his own full thought really was. Where was he trying to go with asking Raphael about...the family mentioning. Why did it have to be something that sorda bothered him but also that he liked.
"I..uh." He stuttered this wasn't going to be the last of it either. His hand reached up and rubbed the back of his neck nervously. His fangs had extended because of the intense emotions that suddenly ran through him, emotions he couldn't even figure out. His nerves felt wracked and he looked around for something. As though a way to explain would just pop out from a dresser drawer or the closet maybe. The closet? Why. No. Simon's eyes squinted at the even slightest possibility. No.
He didn't. He couldn't, he wasn't. Sighing some he couldn't look back over at Raphael right now. "I. Ya know.. I was just. Um. You said like..um. That we were..." He felt like the walls had closed in a little bit and his body only tensed up even more. His fangs were getting longer and in the way now. Looking down he had to put his hand over his mouth, embarrassed for Raphael to see.
