Who: Jareth and Sarah What: Jareth loves the human world. Where: Their apartment. Status: Incomplete Rating: G.
The problem with being surrounded by goblins was that Jareth had a constant source of both annoyance and entertainment. When he had first re-arrived Aboveground, he couldn't understand why humans spent a majority of their time staring at screens, telling a nice young lady on the network that there was so much of the outside world to see. She had mentioned a red box and a thing the humans called Netflix.
He quickly exhausted his boredom breaking habit of people watching. There was only so much one could do without leaving the confines of the city. It had quickly become just like being in the castle beyond the Goblin City, without the entertainment factor and familiarity of the goblins to keep him company.
To keep from driving Sarah completely and utterly bonkers by hanging around, he'd had her show him how to work the television. And he discovered lovely things watching it: reality television being one of them. He was drawn to the survival shows. There was something about throwing humans into precarious situations and seeing what they did that intrigued him.
Dressed in a white shirt, grey pants, and his favorite black vest, the Goblin King munched on a bowl of popcorn while watching the latest episode of a show. His legs were kicked up on the arm of the couch and he lounged, much like he did in his throne back home. It was funny to him how much the Underground really was home to him.
