Cole opened his mouth to speak, but he found that there really wasn't anything to say, so he kept quiet. Of course Sam wouldn't tell anyone - so why had he felt the need to say that?
He turned back to the body bag, lifting and carrying it - her? - to the living room. Getting her into the box wasn't much trouble, but he had to search around for some tape to secure the flaps. Somehow, he didn't think Sam would object to him looking around, considering the circumstances.
He grabbed two other smaller boxes, just so it didn't look like they were carrying one thing. People might notice them, but they wouldn't be stopped for questioning or anything. He dragged the boxes over by the front door and waited, sticking his hands in his pockets to keep them from trembling.
