It was so ridiculously unbelievable that he wanted to laugh at the sheer irony of it. She had no idea what she had seen, and he would ensure that she never did. Vlad didn't have an explanation for what he'd done, aside from the fact that it was anonymous and meant to be so, and even in the midst of the conflict with Emil he'd somehow managed to feel more relaxed than usual.
