He nodded once, "I can live with that, as long as you're getting some rest," he replied obviously relieved. He and insomnia were old friends and he didn't necessarily wish that on anyone, certainly not his wife.
He chuckled slightly, "Alright, I'll take you out on Saturday, we'll paint the town red. Or at least a light orange of some kind," he agreed. He didn't think that inviting them over was the best idea he'd ever had, but it was worth discussing. The both of them had always managed to gloss over the weird things going on around their building, at least now it was out there. They were definitely the only normal people in the whole place.
He could tell that something was coming when she was silent, he just hoped it wasn't the start of an argument of some kind. As he ate his apple in silence as he waited for her to contemplate what she was going to say. He furrowed his brow when she spoke finally and shook his head, "Nothing weirder than usual, what do you mean?"
