WHO: Helena WHAT: Memory plot WHERE: Lobby on the way up to the eleventh WHEN: The day after the landlord post, midday-ish WARNINGS: tba?
Bill, bill, postcard from her dentist reminding her for a visit, catalog of hideous return address labels, coupons. Helena sighed as she sifted through the day's mail. She wasn't sure why she secretly kept hoping for good, or at least interesting, mail anymore. All it did was lead to disappointment.
She checked the box one last time for anything left and then locked it up tight. She crossed the room in long and determined strides. She'd try her luck today with the elevator. The sooner she could get back to the apartment, the better. The landlord's post still lingered in her mind and left her the same feelings of confusion and uneasiness as they all did. While she wasn't sure exactly what he meant, she somehow felt she'd be safer in her apartment. Now to just get there.
