She watched him while he talked, and she finally gave him a small nod. "Okay. I'll leave it," she finally said, taking his hand apologetically and squeezing it softly. "And since I've managed to spoil yet another dinner with my nosiness, I think I'll be going now. It was very lovely," she said standing. "I'm just a terrible guest, I'm afraid," she said with a weak smile.
