Robert got a partial wave of fingers as he peaced out. Her smile was warm, welcoming as fresh vanilla when she ran her eyes back up to Shane. She'd read the name before, assuming there wasn't more than one running around this building.
"Shane.." She said his name like it was meant to be said by a woman. Like it had a taste all it's own, and she enjoyed it's complexity.
"Didn't you go all mortal combat on someone recently?" Morbid subject matter, as the landlord suggested he'd tried to kill a person. But her tone was warm enough that it was obvious she didn't immediately believe the full extent of it.
