She hugged him tightly, arms winding around his neck trustingly, and then she kissed his cheek, the stubble feeling familiar under her lips; it made her pull back and look at him curiously.
And then the water shut off in the bathroom, and her attention was again drawn to Daniel.
"Before I move any stuff in, I wanna see if he's doing any better in his head," she explained, tilting her head and looking at Vlad again. "I ain't gonna leave him alone, even if he wants, if he ain't. But I need somewhere to go when I ain't here, when you're here or when others come 'round, and I appreciate the offer." A soft smile.
