Shiloh calmly walked to the kitchen, and he begun pulling out the makings of grilled cheese sandwiches. He'd found the recipe in a magazine at the grocery store, and it seemed like something simple enough for him to make. He didn't know Christmas was about turkey and ham and cranberries, nor did he realize breakfast and dinner foods were, traditionally, different things.
"Getting arrested doesn't matter. I don't have those documents that make you legal here, so I can't be found. I don't exist," he explained, not like it was a problem, but like it was a simple reality. When Aaron mentioned Trenton, however, something spiked, something unknown he didn't like. "I didn't realize he didn't like me. Now I know, and I'll behave accordingly."
