Shiloh paid the cab driver with Trenton's money, and he was completely quiet as he opened the door to the apartment and got Aaron inside. He wanted to ask what Aaron had sensed, but he didn't. The curiosity was there, however, for the whole drive home.
The sun was starting to rise outside the windows of 104, and Shiloh realized that it was Christmas morning, and this wasn't at all what he'd wanted for Aaron on his first Christmas without Ted.
He wasn't without plans, however, and he smiled tentatively. "I can make us something special for Christmas?" he suggested. "And there's something for you in my room."
