Vlad barely blinked when Shane entered the elevator, but he had to fight to keep an amused smirk off his face. It was almost too much of a coincidence, really. He didn't mind being in the elevator with someone who wanted him dead, since he was confident that it wouldn't be happening anytime soon, especially not now. He glanced down at his dogs, who were staring quite fixedly at Shane. He could tell they were fighting to keep still, and he was rather proud of how well they obeyed.
"Stai locului," he murmured, reminding them to stay where they were. They were on leashes, of course, but he still wanted to see how well they obeyed without force. Cain twisted his head to look up at him before returning his gaze to Shane. He didn't know where these dogs had learned Romanian, but they seemed to understand it, strangely enough.
The elevator certainly was taking a long time, wasn't it? Vlad shifted impatiently, keeping his gaze forward.
