Vlad had never actually traveled with anyone of the non-human variety, but even so he knew that it wouldn't be easy to bring two rather large dogs with them wherever they went. Still, he'd grown rather fond of his pets, and the way Helena called them our boys made him realize there was no way he couldn't bring them along. "Of course not. How could I ever leave them behind?" He scratched behind their ears affectionately, laughing when their tails wagged even harder. It would be difficult, yes, but that had never stopped him before. "You know how persuasive I can be. Wherever we go, they go."
He kept an arm around her waist as they turned away from the building and began to walk, Cain and Abel staying close to their side. "Perhaps we should get them their own bed," he teased, pulling out his cell and noting with satisfaction that it was working again. "I'm not too thrilled about the possibility of having to share you."
