"Anything," she repeated softly to herself. Her embrace tightened for a moment, his presence and reassurances doing much to lift her mood and she inhaled deeply as reveled in all the possibilities that lay ahead of them. When he looked down at her she met his gaze, a small smile gracing her lips to reassure him in turn. Traveling and then settling down still sounded as wonderful now as it did a few weeks ago.
She nodded and although she didn't pull away from him, she shifted in his embrace, her hug gentler, and less of a death grip. "Should we call a cab?" She wasn't sure if she would trust the limos again. Then again, she wasn't even sure if they would still be waiting for them. They served their purpose in bringing them here. Surely they were done now. "We should rest up somewhere. We've had a long evening." She wasn't sure she would be able to sleep but getting off the sidewalk seemed like the best course of action. She thought of the family she had in the city and as much as she wanted Vlad to meet them, today was not the day.
