For some reason she found herself laughing along with Joanie, a mixture of tiredness and everything that had just happened in the last few hours finally taking its toll on her. "You're right - Bellum seemed to be good at making dreams into reality. Or nightmares, that is." At least it was all over - or so she told herself. Some good had to come from this.
Hannah had nearly forgotten that she still had Joanie's number - at least she could still keep in contact with some people. "Oh, yeah. I do--" She paused, frowning until she elaborated and it made sense. "Oh. You can? I guess not even the building being destroyed changes everything." She'd thought that their abilities would have vanished, but maybe not. "You're lucky. That could come in handy - never mind save the world from global warming." She'd never been very good at goodbyes, mainly because she'd never really had a chance to say any. Most people left her life without warning, and now she wasn't quite sure what to say. "Do you... know where you're going to go now? Any plans or anything?"
