Once they met back up with the others and made their way outside, Vlad couldn't say he was particularly surprised to find a row of stationary limos waiting for them. Their very presence was far from welcoming, due to their tinted windows and the fact that no amount of knocking or yelling could get a response from whoever was driving them... if they were being driven by humans, that is. It didn't take long for their doors to open, however, and it became clear that they had no other choice but to get inside.
The ride was fairly quiet, as there wasn't very much to say on any side - all their possessions were still back in that storage unit, save for what they'd brought along, and the list of possible options wasn't very long. He'd brought Cain and Abel along in the limo, which he knew probably didn't please everyone, but he wasn't leaving them back there with no food or water. Eventually the car began to slow, and when he caught sight of monstrous flames through the window he immediately knew something wasn't right. As soon as the car stopped he got out, the dogs staying close and growling at the building from behind his legs. All Vlad could do was stare at the scene before him - Bellum was an inferno of growing flames, practically falling apart before his eyes. Then he watched as the inhuman arm swung out, instinctively finding Helena's hand with his own and giving it a squeeze.
It didn't surprise him as much as it should have, that some creature would have been the one to destroy the building once and for all, but once it was over and his home was nothing more than a pile of smoking rubble, he was surprised that it was actually gone. He'd never know why, but all he knew now was that Bellum was gone... and they were free. Dracula had to be gone now, but a small part of him did hope that the vampire had finally returned to his rightful home. Wrenching himself from his thoughts, Vlad turned to regard the others. "Well," he said finally. "I suppose... it's over."
