She didn't have anything to say in response to that, though her mind attempted to keep up with it. Curiosity nearly made her ask what it was he'd found but in the end it didn't matter. He could be saying this just to put her on edge - or he might have been honest. Lotte doubted she'd know anytime soon. And she was alright with it. She could handle it - because she was just as ready to move on.
Her eyes lowered lowered as he finished, lips pursing slightly. With a grimace, she pulled open her bag and dug around for the tape she'd tucked away earlier. Lotte stared at Faust for a long moment before holding it out to him. "I never gave you this one," she said, carefully. "I couldn't get rid of it, even when everything happened. It was my father's favorite - because the heroine in the end, takes care of herself. She doesn't let herself get tied down by anyone and she does what she thinks is right." Her hand went out a little more.
"I think I've realized that. And there's no reason to condemn Faust for what he did." Not forgiveness, but she understood and like him, she was ready to leave it as that for now.
