It was a fairly long trip back, and Gabby attempted to get some rest - though she didn't want to pass out and become dead weight leaning against Bran. She was sort of in a hazy state between consciousness and unconsciousness, brought on by lack of sleep.
But when she saw their destination looming in the distance and the fire - the building, her home - on fire, she perked up immediately. When the car came to a stop, the locks clicked open so that must mean they were supposed to get out. A not-so-subtle hint. She thought it was a bit sadistic for mysterious limo drivers to bring them back just in time to see Bellum go up in flames, but then again, not entirely surprising.
She pushed the door open and scrambled outside, hoping the others didn't decide to stay in the car. Some manly support would be appreciated right about now. The whole scene was like something out of Cloverfield. When the alien-like arm reached out to tear the building down, bit by bit, she yelped in surprise, stumbling back. Her hands covered her mouth, and she trembled slightly.
"Oh...my...fuck."
The shock was too great to be able to spout something that made more sense.
