Stupid fucking girl. Grunting, Brian pulled away from the door just enough before letting his weight collapse into it, knocking his head heavily against it. The sound caused the door to shiver, and a dull roar sounded in his brain at the vibrations. Opening his eyes slowly, he looked down at the note and pulled it back, throwing it into the apartment without care.

Why did she need an explanation? Why would she want one? Clearly, something was wrong. You didn't poke a sleeping dragon in the eye, you ran from it. Why was she poking his sleeping dragon? With a shaking hand, he penned a quick note before shoving it back under the door at her.

No help for me. only danger.
You don't understand.

Before she could respond, he slammed his elbow in the door to cut her off. Despite the smarting in his arm, he wrote another note to follow the first and shoved it along.
