"Out for a walk?!" he hissed in outrage, throwing a hand into the air. "Who goes out for a walk at..." Brian had lost his watch. Fuck. He flailed at his arm, scratching at the skin until a few pricks of blood were visible in the deep trenches left by his nails. "Fucking...late...o'clock?!" Huffing, he reached up to scratch at his jaw. It was overgrown with stubble, though close inspection would reveal it to be at various lengths. Clearly, Brian had attempted to shave and failed.
His apologies were met with a feral snarl. "Not your job," he hissed, starting to pace as he dug nails into his scalp. It hurt, but not enough. He wanted more. More hurt. His knuckles were almost numb from beating that boy's face in, but numb meant the hurt was going. He needed something to bring him back, to pull him into this body he only had a time share on.
"We changed," he grunted, gaze wildly jumping about the alley as he paced. "Brian became Jekyll. Jekyll drank the potion. Became Hyde. Hyde changed back into me. Brian knows." Just saying those two words, Brian knows, made him want to vomit. "He doesn't know me, not yet. He knows I exist. He doesn't know me. But he knows about me. He knows Hyde hurt people...probably been following the news, seeing I've been hurting people."
