Aiden Shepard [ Abraham Van Helsing ] (arcere) wrote in bellumlogs,
Oh. Well, that was unpleasant, but ... at the very least when they changed back he'd still be (mostly) alive. Aiden shifted, slightly uncomfortable despite the fact that he'd asked that question himself and shouldn't really have been expecting any less horrific answer.
Death was, at least, quite final.
"Depending on what we use to keep her in, she wouldn't be able to get out." Not that he had any communion wafers, but maybe he could ... steal some, or something. In the book that had worked fairly well to keep the vampires from doing anything. "If she tries to leave the building, she'll have trouble breaking into people's homes to try and attack them." But that didn't stop her from going after anybody walking on the streets, who couldn't repel her by simply not inviting her inside. He glanced up at Lily, seeing the upset, seeing that he'd not exactly been kind in his questions, and feeling vestiges of guilt. "If we seal the windows and doors and keep her surrounded by holy symbols, not even she could get out."
And if it came to it, Van Helsing would watch over her all night, to ensure that didn't happen.
