Aiden Shepard [ Abraham Van Helsing ] (arcere) wrote in bellumlogs,
"She might. But she might be more interested in finding blood." He was practically banking on it, actually. Maybe if he hung a cross on the door it would keep her out. Or could she not even get in without being invited? Did that apply to apartments, or just the building in general? No, it had to be the apartments individually. They lived in the building. "So I wouldn't worry about that, really."
Aiden sipped the tea again, trying to solidify himself. What a strange morning this was turning out to be. Most of the time, after a full moon, he was doing a damage consolidation; now he was just talking. In person, too. What strange wonders would the world produce next?
"It still happens." Reports had been as such, and he vaguely wondered what had happened to Joanie, all the way out in the middle of nowhere. "No matter where you are, you change. I can imagine what she would have done. She wanted him dead very slowly, right?" He raised an eyebrow, realizing that this was probably a poor move but the words just slipped out sometimes. And besides, they were true. He remembered her teasing - Lucy calling to Van Helsing that she didn't want him dead. The minds of monsters ... well, it wasn't his concern. Just Helsing's. And Lily's, apparently.
