Aiden nodded slightly. He'd been to Spain, to France ... all over Europe, really, though not all within the last ten years. His traveling had petered off significantly before he turned 24 for specific reasons. Still, there was no place he really preferred over any others. Boston was as good as London, though a little more ... spacious, sometimes; they were both pretty bad as far as traffic went, though. Even if London did take the crowning achievement in that.
But what had it been like ... he hadn't been back since he was in his first stint in grad school, still distracted from the world in general. Why did she want to know, really? Any excuse to postpone the topic of 'here's how you stop drinking blood' was a good one, but eventually they had to get there. Even if 'eventually' meant another day.
"It's ... I suppose 'nice' is one way to put it. Some people think so. Other people think it's a festering pit of disease and pollution." Aiden found himself somewhere in the middle. Provided you didn't do any driving, it was nicer than some places in Europe. "If you like the history and the culture of the history, then it's not a bad place to go. Otherwise, you can get the same sort of claustrophobia going to any cramped city in the Northeast."
