Re: Fifth floor, and heading down
Dracula turned to look at Joss as she began rambling like a frightened child, his expression unreadable for a few beats before he burst into laughter. Very few things amused him, but this... this was a perfect example of just how pathetic humans really were. "If your God exists, my dear, I doubt he would be very pleased to know that you only believe in him when you need his protection. Rather hypocritical, is it not?" It was a rhetorical question, and he took a menacing step towards her just for effect. A cross wouldn't protect her forever, and she could be dealt with after her sister.
Sherri's voice tugged at him again, drawing him back to lock his eyes with hers. He tilted his head to the side, but when Mina sank her teeth into the girl's bloody shoulder his attention was averted. "You are both an insult and an abomination now," he laughed, cruel and full of triumph. He watched her for a brief moment before gently tilting Sherri's head to the side with his free hand, sinking his fangs into a spot just above the nape of her neck - shallowly at first, to relish the blood that welled up almost immediately.
