205 and then out and about
For a while, Sherri had felt guilty about not inviting Brian over for the full moon, this time, but that had passed quickly - after all, the last time nothing had even happened, and he might have better things to do with his night than spend it with them. Aside from that, it was nice to just spend time with her sister, even if Joss was being a little grumpy and uncooperative. She'd ordered a vegan pizza, so there would be nothing at all to upset Joss's allergy, and rented a few Disney movies that matched up with some of the fables around the building, just for laughs. All in all, she thought they were more than prepared for a nice, calm full moon.
Of course, she hadn't taken Badr into consideration.
Watching Joss change was a bit shocking. She looked like herself, sort of, except definitely more Arabic. It wasn't a bad look on her, but Sherri still found it a little eerie to have glanced away, and then found someone who wasn't her sister when she turned back. Her own transformation was as subtle as it had been for her first full moon in the building, a sudden flow of knowledge and a faint, now familiar presence in the back of her mind. She thought very hard about how glad she was to have Scheherazade back, and felt a soft hint of pleasure in return.
That greeting taken care of, Sherri turned to the girl who was mostly not her sister. "Hello, Badr. I'm..." She hesitated. Though she wasn't close enough to being her fable that she felt she could claim the identity, Badr would probably find that name more soothing than Sherri, who she didn't know. "I'm Scheherazade. I thought we could keep each other company tonight." Of course, if Joss was still in control, she was probably going to make fun of her now. It was well worth the risk, though. "Is there anything you would like to do, while you're here?"
