Ever since returning to Bellum Letale, Oliver had had a hard time settling back in. The encounter with Vlad had, at least, not gone badly, but that hardly meant he felt anything but nervous still living here. He wasn't sure what this building was capable of, and he was quite sure he didn't want to be around to figure it out. Already, many people who had lived here prior to their little time-traveling expedition had faded away, whether by moving or some other building-induced-force was still a question, but the way the halls rattled with empty apartments made his stomach roll over.
So he needed to get out. At least for an afternoon. Fresh air, a walk, maybe something caffeinated to drink. It had to help his mood. But first step was getting down and outside. Stairs were out of the question given how his middle still ached, so he was forced to look to the temperamental elevator. Sighing, Oliver punched the button and waited, his gaze fixed on the ceiling when the doors opened.
Oliver hadn't been expecting anyone else to be on the elevator, so when he looked back in time to see Lily standing there, his eyes went wide in surprise. "L-lily."
