Who: Isobel and Archer What: A visit to the hospital Where: County Hospital When: Friday afternoon Warnings: None to speak of
Nearly a week in the hospital and Isobel had to admit that coming here for some professional help had probably been a wise idea. The counsellor she had been assigned, a young woman who never faltered no matter what Isobel had to say, was definitely something she felt positive about. A lot had been said, there was more to be said, and even though she knew she wouldn't forget what had happened, she felt like she might be able to cope with it now.
The evening saw her picking at her dinner, only managing a few bites of it before pushing it away in mild disgust. That was the one thing that even the nurses were struggling with her about: her appetite. It wasn't that she was deliberately starving herself, but nothing tasted good, and every time she tried to eat something that looked mildly appetizing, she was usually in the bathroom less than an hour later emptying her stomach. That had resulted in some negative results which she really didn't like to think about. But for now...
For now she would just curl up on her hospital bed. Would she ever get out?
