He's first aware of the rocking of the boat, a feeling that brings him back to a time he can't quite recall, and it's familiar in a strange way. A crack of light is visible around the door of the cabin, and Lucas moves towards it, pushing the door open and taking his first step out into the salty air, the sea breeze dampening his skin. It's quite the view from the cabin door, one he could have looked at for a long while had he not become aware of movement off to to his side.
Looking over, he sees Edward, which confuses him initially. Edward wasn't supposed to be around. He was dead. There's confusion, his eyes narrowing slightly, and finally, he calls out to his old friend.
"Edward! The boat! I like it!" It's an amiable greeting until he can get his thoughts together.
