Just when it seemed like things would work out, Isobel dropped an anvil on his head. Despite his shock, Archer didn't seem ruffled. His expression never changed, as if she hadn't said anything at all. He had no worries about this. After all, no crime had been committed. He had done nothing wrong. Trenton had died, killed himself, and Archer merely took care of the body.
At Luther's question, Archer glanced to him. "Why, the man that passed away," he said simply, extending a hand to Isobel as they walked down the stairs.
