The door opened, revealing the little bag of bones behind it. He knew that it was hypocritical to be unsettled by Isobel's size when he himself was little more than a skeleton brought to life, but that didn't bother him. After all, he was used to this. She wasn't.
Her uneasiness made him tense slightly, a subconscious response. His gaze flickered between her and the inspector before settling back on her. "He's a friend," he said coolly after the other man introduced himself. Resting a hand with familiarity on her door, he did his best to offer her a smile. Hopefully she wouldn't resist.
