"I'd back the funding on that," Xavier said, honestly. "It would be for the good of the community - and who can resist such a thing?" He grinned, perhaps a little too ironically honest. People were too eager to ruin other's lives. It was his main issue with humanity since leaving jail.
He couldn't help the laugh and the uncertainty in her smile did make him wince slightly. He shook his head though, glancing at his watch in a practised movement. Casual- oh look at the time. She had enough information and hopefully this ended up productive in some way. Xavier gave a gentle smile, letting his wrist fall. "I hope I didn't bore you with all my worrying about him and talk of business."
