Xavier shrugged and let it drop. There was no need to expand on it - he'd only trip over his own lies. He took a final drink of his soda, finishing the can. Using this as an excuse to get up, he moved to the fridge to get another. "Can I get you anything else?"
He paused though, one hand on the door. His expression was neutral before he gave a small shrug. "I have to imagine he does - at least to an extent. I wish people did understand though that he can't help it - there's just something wrong with the way he thinks." The truth, but it needed to get out somehow. Just enough so Lucas wouldn't get killed. "People probably wouldn't take me that seriously," he said, with a slight laugh. He opened the fridge hiding his expression as it turned to Lucas' wife. "I don't know why Gina is with him honestly. I've spent more time trying to figure that out then I should."
