"What would you call it then?" He asked, genuinely curious. A leg bent so that an ankle rested on a knee. Maybe not the best manners, but this was just a casual lunch - slips were necessary. His smile said more than enough about her dog's sounds- "It's nothing to worry about. This floor does seem to be pretty quiet, all things considered for well, the building." He shrugged.
"Exactly," Xavier said with a nod. "I can't imagine doing anything else-" Lies. "It's rewarding to know you're funding people's dreams." Fucking bullshit. It just provided the best way to increase your money while only watching numbers. It was a wonder how so few people made a living off the stock market. But Xavier kept his expression composed, smiling slightly as she explained what she did. "That's more admirable though. Far more rewarding than what I do." He was tempted to ask what she'd think of Sam's zoo, as an animal-lover but managed to stop himself. He gestured to the spread, adding, "And do feel free to take something. I get carried away by talking too often."
