Xavier smiled at that. "Most things go down that vein these days - or maybe I've just been cut off from everyone else." Both were true actually. His college years had been busy and cut short - prison had not had any opportunities for contact over cooking. His time with Iris had been about surviving and getting used to reality. Since then, he'd only been working on his plans. "I really appreciate it though."
He got a few cans from the fridge - placing them on the counter so she could take her pick. He took a can of coke for himself, popping up the top. The compliment made his smile twist a bit more. "That's what the designer I hired called it too." He'd merely asked whatever was the most impressive style these days. "I'm not sure how much I like it-" He shrugged. "But it seems to leave people impressed."
