Cole either didn't notice or didn't care that his view of admirable probably wasn't the right one, since burying a dead body without telling anyone else wasn't exactly the proper thing to do. Still, he'd thought that arresting Trenton for killing Aaron had been right, and look how that turned out. What reason did he have to trust in his own moral system anymore? He went with what he thought and what he felt, and if it was wrong... well, no one was perfect.
