Her smile faded soon after as she let Gabby in, self-consciously tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear as she closed the door behind her. "I... broke some dishes in the kitchen. A-all of them, actually, and accidentally stepped on the glass." She didn't look at Gabby as she said that, instead making a beeline towards the couch in the living roo to sit, patting the other cushion as she curled up in the corner of the piece of furniture.
"If I had thought someone... was coming over. Earlier. I would ahve cleaned them. I'm sorry things are... just a mess."
