rupert "miles" glass ([info]clowning) wrote in [info]bellumlogs,
Oh, if there were any one particular God to address or approach in thanks or honor of Ra being a docile, and well-fitted snake for the box, he certainly would have addressed or approached them. Verbally, at least. As it was no God of snakes slithered forth to be given recourse to, and thus Miles only bent his brow in the middle to show the determination, reluctance, and readiness for any sudden or sweeping event of the cobra.

They were very sudden creatures.

"I wouldn't be surprised. He'll eat anything or anyone he finds. Fortunately, he's not fully grown," He'd explained, as the snake was directed into coiling into the box head first. "And his teeth are smaller than many snakes, at least compared to a rattler. Rattler's must fold their fangs into their mouths to keep them, for Ra this is unnecessary."

Ra didn't like this talk of his inadequate fangs, and turned around suddenly to eye his owner. He didn't do much else, however.

"... His fit."

The rest of him was placed inside the box. Ra looked so small and curious there, as he peered up at the two men who had introduced him to his newest predicament. Somehow, he even seemed content.

"Ah, my little, venomous child how I'll miss you at night!"
