Who: Darcy and Vlad What: She invited him for tea, how cute is that? Where: Her apartment When: Nowish Rating: Mild
Darcy was ecstatic that Vlad had accepted her offer to come over for tea, because really, how awesome was that? It meant that he'd enjoyed their conversation and that she hadn't been a complete spaz when they'd met that day in the elevator. Awesome. She made sure that every little thing was in place, she used her best tea set, she made little cakes and little sandwiches, and even had a bottle of wine just in case. She hoped that he enjoyed himself, she didn't want to scare him off, but she did want to get to know him better. Maybe she'd even get up the nerve to ask him if he knew who she was, maybe she'd even be brave enough to show off the picture she had.
She was dressed nicely in a light blue summer dress and her hair was pulled back neatly into a low ponytail. She was wearing the closed locket around her neck for the first time in months. She had been fighting the decision to wear it, while growing up there wasn't a time that she didn't have it on, and she always had it in her pocket at school. But this was supposed to be a fresh start, and she'd kept it safely in her jewelry box since she'd moved to bellum but she figured today was a good day to wear it.
She looked at her table to make sure that everything was set properly and she was just taking the kettle off when she heard a knock at her door. She took a deep breath and smoothed her dress a bit to make sure she looked alright. She went about unlocking the four extra locks she had installed and when she finally opened the door Vlad was greeted with a warm smile, "Hi! I'm glad you could come!" she said as she stepped aside a bit so he could enter.
