Xavier nodded, raising his mug once agian. "It's why I choose it," he said simply. At her question, he swallowed more of the drink, eyes shutting as he did so. He could be honest with Iris but the question itself was unsure - for him. "I never had anything permanently set in stone. I didn't want to rely on a plan that could fall apart..." He shrugged, lowering his mug to the counter. "Gina has been excluded from all plans for now. I don't intend to hurt her. There's a man in the building who can remove my illusions - but I believe I've bought his silence."
