Parker hadn't really meant anything by the description--it had literally been the only thing he'd had to go on as an identifier for the guy, as his followup had left him with little to say that wouldn't come off as antagonistic. He had better things to do than to get on the bad side of half the people in the apartment complex when he'd been there for less than a week.
"Well," he shrugged, "I try to make time for as many efforts as I can." People had often wondered how in the world he'd managed to juggle so much in high school and college, and even he sometimes had to wonder. There were mild bags under his eyes, to be certain, but he had a feeling that they really ought to be bigger for how little sleep he got. "I hear you there, though--in a perfect world." Parker made a point to strive for perfect worlds, even though he knew full and well they weren't possible. Still, nothing ever changed if you didn't give 100%. The way Luther had phrased it seemed strange, though. "Is there a lot to be investigated around the building...? I heard some guy died the other night..."
