It was a bit of a relief that she didn't seem to believe it. Xavier gave a small smile - not saying anything, but could be read in either direction. Placing his drink on the table, he looked up to her. "Let's change the subject then." He paused, almost over-dramatic in it's way. "Ten years is a long time to date." His grin was practiced though it killed him.
"What took you two so long to get married?" He laughed, the coil of anger releasing slightly. Irony helped. "Ignore the fact that I've never felt the urge myself."
