The idea of Xavier dropping out of college was a surprise. He was so put-together, seemed so very educated. But Gina had learned that "unconventional" didn't always mean "bad." She smiled back. "Well, it's not for everybody," she said matter-of-factly. "I knew a lot of my classmates at Harvard that dropped out because they just didn't like it." She shrugged. "What matters is that you can find the thing that you do like, and that makes you happy."
Thinking of Harvard and finding her happiness brought her thoughts back to Edward, and for a brief moment her face fell. She recalled the horrific dream she had had the first night she slept in Bellum, and could still feel the pricks of his nails on her shoulders. But this wasn't the time for that. Pushing the thought away, she brought another smile to her face.
